Dr. JoAnne Flynn is a Professor of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Flynn’s career has been largely focused on the immunology of tuberculosis (TB). She identified several immune factors that were involved in controlling TB and was the President of the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) from 2018-2019.
Dr. Stephen Hedrick is Chancellor’s Associates Chair VII and Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Hedrick is a Distinguished Fellow of AAI and was the recipient of the AAI Distinguished Service Award in 1997. He has a strong track record of eloquently advocating for childhood vaccination.
