Dr. Mitchell Kronenberg is a Professor and President Emeritus at La Jolla Institute for Immunology. He and his team study study innate-like T lymphocytes, including natural killer T cells,  mucosal-associated invariant T cells, and gd T cells, as well as innate lymphoid cells. They are also interested in mucosal immunology and the development of inflammatory bowel diseases.
