Dr. Michael Alonso is a Scientific Co-Founder, and Vice President of Immunology & Pharmacology at Bolt Biotherapeutics, a biotechnology company developing immunotherapies that activate myeloid cells. This includes immune-stimulating antibody conjugates (ISAC), which reprogram the tumor microenvironment to invoke a new anti-tumor immune response. Dr. Alonso has a PhD in Immunology from Stanford University School of Medicine, where his research demonstrated that activated T cells dictate the nature of the immune response by instructing monocytes to differentiate into specialized dendritic cell subsets.
