Dr. Marc Jenkins is a Regents and Distinguished McKnight University Professor  in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Minnesota. The Jenkins lab is focused on the basic biology of CD4⁺ T lymphocytes. They investigate CD4⁺ T and B cell activation in vivo by directly tracking antigen-specific cells. The goal of this research is a basic understanding of lymphocyte activation that can be used to improve vaccines and prevent autoimmunity.
