Dr. Mahima Swamy is a Programme Leader at the University of Dundee. Her main research interest is to understand how intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes coordinate immune responses to chemical, dietary and microbial inputs at the intestinal epithelium. They are exploring how immune homeostasis is maintained at the barrier, and how dysregulated intraepithelial lymphocytes can be controlled.
