Dr. Caetano Reis e Sousa is the Assistant Research Director and Senior Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute. Dr. Reis e Sousa’s lab studies the molecular pathways that trigger dendritic cells into action.  He has helped to define the cells and pathways involved in innate immune detection of RNA viruses, fungi and dead cells.
