Dr. Ana Anderson is the Albert H. Coons Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Research in the Anderson Laboratory focuses on understanding the pathways and mechanisms that regulate the T cell response in chronic disease, particularly in cancer. Specific areas of investigation are examination of the role of co-inhibitory/immune checkpoint receptor pathways in regulating effector and regulatory T cells in cancer and defining the distinct effector T cell states present in tumor tissue.
