Dr. Kellen Cavagnero is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Diego. Throughout his career, Kellen’s research has focused on defining the events that occur after initial exposure to an inflammatory stimulus. His work aims to understand how fibroblasts—a cell type thought to be immunologically inert—contribute to chronic inflammatory conditions and defense against pathogens. His podcast, Inflammatory Content, aims to make science and the stories of the people behind the science accessible to everyone.
